Who We Are

Carol Schultz Vento

Carol Schultz Vento is teaching the Elective Seminar Social Justice. She was a full-time faculty member at The Philadelphia Center during the years 1977 to 1983, 1999, 2000 and 2005. She taught the city seminar, Two Americas: Law and Politics in a Divided Nation and the elective seminar, Women in America. Additionally, she acted as Interim Executive Director in January and February 2007 and was Placement Director in 2005-06. Carol received her B.A. in Sociology, her M.P.A. in Public Administration, and her Ph.D. in Political Science from Temple University. She also received a Law Degree from Rutgers University—Camden. She has taught at Lehigh University, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Temple University. Carol is engaged in the private practice of law on a part-time basis. In addition, she is the author of numerous legal articles published by West Group.
