Who We Are

Diana Waters

Diana Waters is a full time faculty member who teaches the City Seminar Education at Work: Sites of Learning. Diana has been with The Philadelphia Center since 1987 and has been involved with education reform since 1984. She has been active in school desegregation issues in the Philadelphia Public School System, and has held board membership on several education funds and community organizations serving diverse populations. She has provided seminars and workshops on diversity for corporations, non-profit organizations and in public and private school settings. Diana is the president and founder of MayaMarc, Inc., a diversity consulting firm based in Philadelphia. For many years she taught the Africanist Perspectives in Literature Elective Course for The Philadelphia Center. She earned her ED.D. at the Fielding Institute.
