Howard Keen
Howard Keen teaches the Elective Seminars Urban Economics and Principles of Finance. He is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Temple University, consults in the field of Forensic Economics, and has received national recognition as an economic forecaster. Until 1999, Howard was Chief Economist and Director of Forecasting for Conrail, and prior to that served as a senior banking economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. He has a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Bryn Mawr College. Howard has served as President of the International Association of Business Forecasting; President of the Philadelphia Council of Business Economists; Director of the National Association for Business Economics where he headed that Association’s Academic, Education & Training, and Publications Committees; Associate Editor of Business Economics; and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Council on Economic Education. Howard was a Field Supervisor from 1986 to 1990, has served on the Philadelphia Center Advisory Committee, and has been an adjunct faculty member since 1987.
