Who We Are
Ilene Baker
Ilene Baker is our Director of Information and Student Affairs. She administers strategic direction and oversight to program learning technologies and has overall responsibility for Instructional and Informational Technologies on TPC’s campus. As Director of Student Affairs, she formulates and develops student policies and works with faculty, staff, & students on problems relating to protocol, student life, and administration. In addition, she plans and organizes all of the Center’s special events and activities. Before joining The Philadelphia Center, Ilene worked as a special projects consultant and also owned and operated the first skateboard store in Philadelphia. She is a founding board member of the Passyunk Square Civic Association and co-founder of Daughters of D-Day, a storytelling project. She attended Bryn Mawr College as a Catherine E. McBride Scholar.
