The Philadelphia Center is your home away from home, and we want to help you and your classmates feel a sense of community throughout the semester.

Responding to current interests and student needs, The Philadelphia Center offers a variety of programs, events, workshops, and discussion groups including: Career Development; Difference, Diversity and Identity; Homelessness in Philadelphia; Philly 101: An Insider’s Guide to Philly; Potluck and Movie Night.

We also support several student-run committees and we encourage you to explore the city and work together to promote change. Previously, students have organized around the following groups: The Philadelphia Center Cares; The Philadelphia Center Committee on Difference; Dining out in Philadelphia; Explore Philly; Student Activities.

You may also want to take advantage of events related to your academic and personal interests such as films, discussions, lectures, conferences, and readings offered by special interest groups, theaters, museums, and internship sites, as well as any one of the nearly 100 colleges, universities, and professional schools located throughout the area.
