Electives
Our four-credit Electives offer students an opportunity to further diversify their course of study and, like the City Seminars, often take advantage of the city by using it as a classroom.
Elective courses meet one evening per week. Our adjunct faculty members, many or whom are practicing professionals, bring their real-world perspectives into the classroom.
The Philadelphia Center typically offers the following Elective courses:
- Abnormal Psychology - Lori Nelsen-Luneburg
- The Architecture of Cities - Warren E. Huff
- Economic Perspective on Modern Urban Issues - Howard Keen
- Exploring Relationships in Fiction and Film: Sex, Gender, and Sexuality - Mark Andrew Clark
- Marketing Management - Al Tedesco
- Principles of Finance - Howard Keen
- Social Justice - Carol Vento
- 21st Century Entrepreneurship - Michael Edmondson
- Directed and Independent Studies, Non-GLCA Courses
