The Philadelphia Center’s 4 Week May Term
What is it?
•Students across all majors, even undeclared, who would like to explore various career options.
Who should attend?
•Undergraduates across all majors and who are ready to learn more about work.
What will students do?
•Participants will attend a variety of career development workshops and have opportunities to job shadow professionals in various fields Monday- through Thursday each week. Additionally, for select students project-based work will also be available in certain fields.
When is it?
•The 2010 Summer program runs May 10-June 4.
Will I receive college credit?
• Yes. Hope College in Holland, Michigan is our managing institution. Upon completion of the 4 week program Hope will award you 3 academic credits.
When is the deadline for application?
• Space is limited so please apply as soon as possible. The deadline for applications is March 15. Letters of acceptance will be sent by April 15.
How much is tuition?
•Tuition for our summer program is $2,100.
What about housing and food costs?
•Housing is to be arranged by each participant.
Does The Philadelphia Center offer financial aid?
•No. Please note that most schools generally do not allow financial aid to transfer for a May Term. Please consult with your school’s Office of Financial Aid for specific information.
